Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- All men, women, and third gender applicants.
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
- Educational qualification and age will be calculated as on August 1, 2025.
Age limitAs on August 1, 2025, the age limits are as follows:
- More (Partial): 20 to 37 years
- General (Women): 20 to 40 years
- Backward Class (BC) and Very Backward Class (EBC): 20 to 40 years
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Third Gender: 20 to 42 years
Age relaxation of Bihar government employees and ex-servicemen will work as per government rules.

- More/small BC: 165cm tall
- Minor EBC/SC/ST: 160 cm
- Wife: 155cm tall
Asthma (Men only):
- General/BC/EBC: 81 cm (unstretched), 86 cm (extended)
- SC/ST: 79 cm (unstretched), 84 cm (extended)
Weight:
- Female applicants: At least 48kg.

The application fee for all male, female and third categories is ₹100. Bank charges, if any, must be paid separately.
