‘Dhurandhar’ actress Ayesha Khan, who was recently arrested by the Mumbai police for allegedly taking part in the NEET paper leak protest, has reacted to the latest political development. After the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who was introduced to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (July 25), the actress voiced her support for the move. Taking to social media, Ayesha shared a screenshot of the news and celebrated the development, calling it a big win.

Sharing the update on her Instagram stories, Ayesha Khan wrote, “We’re halfway there.” He also called the resignation a “good sign” In a lengthy note, he celebrated the great victory and wrote: “We now hope that adequate compensation will be given to the victim families, although nothing in this world can compensate for the personal loss.” He also called for accountability for the way peaceful protesters were treated. He urged people not to overlook what he described as unjust FIRs filed against students, stressing that the issue should not be forgotten.
Ayesha further added, “And we expect accountability towards the peaceful protestors. These are exactly the young minds we were all fighting for. Let’s not forget that these FIRs are not fair.” He concluded his post by writing, “This phase of our country will always be part of my core memory. So much that we all learned in the process. During the demonstration, she was arrested by the Mumbai police. The actress later shared videos from inside a police van, claiming she was arrested for “standing” at the protest site. In another video, she was seen being escorted by female police officers as she repeatedly questioned the reason for her arrest. Through a series of social media posts, Ayesha also slammed the Mumbai Police for their handling of the protest.
