However, at one of her last shows, the singer blatantly changed some of the lyrics from one of her exes, who was there to cheer the ‘Hate That I Made You Love Me’ singer on from the VIP boxes.

While performing in Austin, Texas, the singer performed her hit song on stage, but ended up changing the lyrics slightly as a shout-out to Ricky Alvarez, one of her former backup dancers, whom she dated from April 2015 to July 2016. His 2018 song originally featured the lyrics “He wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”However, for her overnight performance on the ‘Eternal Sunshine’ tour, the singer changed the lyrics to “Wrote some songs about Ricky / I know he still got me.” The performance took place at the Moody Center. Alvarez enjoyed the outcry after concert videos showed him in attendance, dancing and swaying to the singer’s music while attending the concert in the VIP section area.It wasn’t the first time she changed the lyrics herself. At a concert a few days earlier, the singer sang “He wrote some songs about Ricky / And they still slap some” instead of the original version.On top of that, Grande and Alvarez have been hanging out and seeing each other for a while now, and were even spotted having lunch together in public, PEOPLE reports.
