JoSAA Counseling 2026 round 3 results: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will announce the round 3 seat allocation result for JoSAA Counseling 2026 at 5pm today, July 6, 2026. Those who have registered for the counseling session can check their allotment status by logging into the official portal at josaa.nic.in. Individual seat allotment letters will also be available for download once the results are declared.Candidates who have been allotted seats in this phase are required to complete the online reporting process within the prescribed schedule. This includes uploading the required documents, paying the seat acceptance fee and answering any verification questions. The reporting window will remain open from July 6 to July 8, while payments must be completed by July 8. Candidates facing payment issues or documentation related queries can respond till July 9.Online reporting system after the distribution of 3The withdrawal and withdrawal from the seat allotment process will be available from July 7 to July 8. Candidates who are answering questions related to withdrawal can do so till July 9. The admission will continue only after the uploaded documents are verified online and the admission process is completed.After submitting, candidates must choose one of the three options available. Float system allows candidates to accept the allotted seat where they should have higher preferences in future contests. The Freeze option ensures acceptance of the allotted seat without participating in the counseling process. The Slide option enables candidates to maintain their assigned courses while seeking courses of their choice within the same institution in the following lines.Documents required for verificationSeat allottees must upload the necessary documents, including JEE Main 2026 admit card, JEE Advanced 2026 admit card where applicable, rank card, Class 10 certificate, Class 12 paper, band certificate, passport size photographs and seat allotment letter. Admission proceeds after successful online verification, followed by final reports and payment of fees to the assigned school.Six recommended counseling sessionsJoSAA Counseling 2026 is conducted in six groups for admission in participating schools. These include IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and other IIT schools.To get the round 3 result, candidates need to go to the official website, open the round 3 link, login using their application number and password, check the result and download the allotment letter for future use.
