Gang of Youths, one of Australia’s most revered bands, are making their big comeback! The band has been in the headlines for months for speculation about their return to the music scene in Sydney. The group has now confirmed that they will be returning to their big hometown soon! Here are all the details we know about the upcoming concerts.

On Monday, the beloved band announced on Instagram that they will finally be returning home after quite some time for their homecoming shows. They announced that they will be performing two shows at the famous Sydney Opera House. The group deleted all posts from their account just hours before the announcement, which shocked followers.They uploaded one of the official group photos along with the announcement and concert dates. The caption read: ‘Sydney Opera House 8th and 10th August 2026 It’s been a while but we’ll see you soon… Sign up to youth bargain com to access the pre-sale from 9am AEST on Wednesday 1 July. Tickets will go on general sale from 9 a.m. on Friday, July 3.”The group last performed in Australia for a pair of festival performances in early 2023. They last performed in Sydney at the Enmore Theater in 2022. In 2015, the group found success with the release of their first full-length album, ‘The Positions’. In 2017, the band relocated from Australia to London.The group consists of songwriter and singer David Le’aupepe, drummer Donnie Borzestowski, guitarist and keyboardist Jung Kim and multi-instrumentalist Tom Hobden. Max Dunn, one of the original members of the group, is no longer with them and works at an entertainment law firm. Other past members also include Joji Malani and Sam O’Donnell.
