Reviewing the film, he wrote, “The film relies too much on long speeches, dramatic lines and predictable conflicts. The script is full of political references, historical echoes and social issues. The Thiruvananthapuram slang gives the film a local flavour, but it feels a bit forced.”The review also commented on Arya’s role and the supporting performances. It said: “Arya is presented as the central face of the film, but her character, Vetrivel Kumaran, is not given enough space to make a lasting impact. Her personal story gets tangled up with several other narratives and as a result, the emotional weight of her revenge is not fully felt. Murali Gopy acts with restraint and Indrans excels in the serious parts. Vijayaraghavan, Dev Mohan, Appani Sarath, Santhi Balachandran, Nikhila Vimal and the rest of the cast play their roles with sincerity.”DISCLAIMER: Box office numbers and data in this article are collected from public and industry sources.
