Chidambaram’s ‘Balan: The Boy’ continued its steady run at the box office with a sharp jump in collections on the 8th.According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 1.93 crore nett in India on the eighth day. The latest figure represents a 96.9% increase from the nett 98 lakhs earned on the 7th.

Day 8 collections came from 1,427 shows across the country. With the latest addition, Balan: The Boy has now collected Rs 13.22 crore nett in India.The film’s Indian gross collection has reached Rs 15.32 crore. The figure marks a 52.3% increase compared to the 65 lakhs collected on the opening day.After two days in theatres, ‘Ananthan Kaadu’ has collected Rs 1.64 crore nett in India.
