The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will close the application process for Excise Constable Recruitment 2026 today, June 24. Candidates who have not applied for the vehicle can complete their application through the website, upsssc.gov.in.The recruitment process seeks to fill 722 posts of Excise Constable under the Office of Excise Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj. Applicants must have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and have a valid PET card.

Applicants must have passed Intermediate (Class 12) or equivalent examination from Uttar Pradesh Board or any other recognized board.According to the notification, the age of the candidates should be between 18 and 40 years as on July 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to the reserved category and eligible government employees as per the government rules.Candidates with NCC B Certificate and who have completed two years of service in the Territorial Army will be given preference during the recruitment process.
