UPPSC GIC Lecturer Result 2026: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared UP GIC Lecturer Result 2026 for all 13 courses on its official website. Candidates who have appeared in the preliminary examination can now check their eligibility through the educational result PDF released by the Commission.The results determine the list of shortlisted candidates for the next stage of the recruitment process, the Main examination. The board has also explained that specific information about Mains exam schedule and online application process for eligible candidates will be given later.

UPPSC has released separate PDFs about all the 13 courses included in the Government Inter College (GIC) cadre. The subjects include Sociology, Geography, Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Civics, History, Biology, Urdu and Sanskrit.Candidates can download the PDF files from the official website of the Commission and search their roll numbers to check if they are eligible for the Mains exam.The organization has also released statistics on people participating and eligible for several scholarships.In Sociology, 31,116 people registered, of which 9,430 took the first exam. Out of those who took the exam, 806 candidates were declared qualified for the Main exam.For Geography, 23,951 people registered and 11,378 took the exam. Based on their performance in the preliminary phase, 1,927 candidates have qualified for the Mains exam.The Commission observed that candidates who failed to obtain the necessary certificates were not included in the list of successful candidates.
