Rocking Star Yash he will be seen playing Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological epic.Ramayana‘ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. Recently, during the film’s grand trailer launch in Delhi, the Kannada superstar spoke about his experience working in the film and revealed how it gave him the opportunity to learn Hindi.
Yash calls ‘Ramayana’ a special journey
According to an IANS report, during the event, he even tried to speak in Hindi while addressing the audience. He said, “Namaskar. I am very happy to be a part of this wonderful project. Sab Hindi mein baat kar rahe hain yahaan. Principal bhi koshish karunga. Iss mukaam tak laane ke liye all credit should go to Namit Malhotra. Unhone mujhe yeh patra nibhaane ka avsar diya, uskeh liye howaad unkeh hindi. mauka mila. (Everybody has been speaking in Hindi here, so I thought I’d give it a try too. All the credit for bringing me to this stage goes to Namit Malhotra. He gave me a chance to play this character and I’m really thankful to him for that. I also got a chance to learn Hindi.)

The ‘KGF’ star thanked producer Namit Malhotra for giving him the opportunity to be a part of the film. He also thanked director Nitesh Tiwari for helping him understand his character.He said, “This is India’s dream. We have all come together with a vision and a conviction, to put our story on the global platform. So we are all keeping all our interests aside. We have only one interest: to tell the story of Prabhu Shri Ram to the world audience and also celebrate him in our country. So, thank you, Namit, for having that courage and a lot of conviction. and helping me understand the nuances of the character.“
Yash praises his co-stars
Yash also spoke about his co-stars, praising Ranbir Kapoor as “phenomenal” and saying, “The whole of India will understand how you threw yourself into this role and what magic you created.”He also appreciated Sai Pallavi’s performance as Sita. Yash said that watching her on screen was a wonderful experience and added that “her eyes say it all”.The actor also praised Rakul Preet Singh and Shobana for playing their characters.The trailer launch of Ramayana was attended by several well-known names from the film industry.
