She went on to describe Yami’s win as particularly meaningful because Article 370 wasn’t just another mission for her, it was a story she believed in deeply and fought to bring to the screen.Varma then turned to what he called the real success behind the award: the years of struggle, determination and faith that shaped Yami’s career long before this recognition came. He wrote that he was personally more excited by everything that had built up to this point, the setbacks, the risks taken and the refusal to give up, than by the prize itself, and described his career as something built “brick by brick”, with more milestones to come.
