The veteran actress died at the age of 82, her ‘Daredevil’ co-star Peter Shinkoda confirmed in a social media post. He took to his Instagram to remember her, writing: “I will never forget you. I learned every minute from you when we were together on and off the set. I know wisdom: I would cling to all your words. We will meet again, my friend. you were beautiful 🙏😣@waichinghohknyc #MadameGao #TheHand @daredevil @marvelstudios. He accompanied the heartfelt tribute with photos of them sharing the screen in ‘Daredevil’. His family also issued a public statement about his passing to the Hollywood Reporter. The statement read: “Her family is deeply grateful for the incredible outpouring of love and support and the many beautiful messages and memories people have shared about our beloved Wai.
