If the movie is not good, hit me with slippers. My film should only be released if it is really good. What I am talking about is Vijay Sethupathi’s great performance.”The event turned lighter when producer Thanu casually announced that the film would release in August. Mysskin immediately laughed jokingly, mocking the film’s delayed release, and replied, “Oh my god… really sir? Please announce the date! Wait… Suriya’s film is releasing on August 14 sir!” Smiling at the reaction, Thanu simply replied, “I only said August, not the date.”

Every day, he gave ₹1,000 to the best artist and junior technician.
