The Uttar Pradesh Private School Examinations Board, UPMSP (Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh), has issued a detailed guide for the registration of candidates hoping to take the 2027 board examination. Apart from the deadline set by the board, it provided several options for applying for the board exam, paying fees, submitting and verifying documents, and making changes. Candidates are strongly advised to know the exact dates and not to miss any session to avoid penalty due to late registration.Individual applicants will need to submit their application forms through the designated locations.

The agency has decided August 5, 2026, as the last date to submit the application form along with the written fee. Candidates who fail to complete the process within the stipulated time will be allowed to register only after paying a fee of Rs 100.

UPMSP has also announced the fee for the examination conducted in different categories of individual candidates. For class 10 aspirants, the registration fee has been fixed at Rs 706.50. Candidates appearing under credit will need to pay Rs 306.50, while those opting for additional courses will have to pay Rs 206.50 per subject.For Class 12 candidates, including those who have failed in Agriculture and Vocational stream, the fee has been fixed at Rs 806.50. Students opting for additional subjects in the intermediate examination will also have to pay Rs 206.50 for each additional subject.
Validation and maintenance
In order to reduce errors in the examination records, UPMSP has given a verification period from August 21 to August 31, during which the details of the candidates and the sending centers will be verified. There will be a changeover period, which extends the grace period for schools that may need to make changes to their submissions. September 1 to September 10 is the window set for organizations to make changes or correct their mistakes after submitting all the necessary information before completing the registration process.In another matter, the agency has also requested the referral center to not only file a list of candidates but also a bank letter to the concerned office by September 30, 2026, to complete the registration process for next year’s board examination (year ending 2027).Candidates are advised to fulfill the requirements on timeAs the registration process is now underway, private applicants are advised to complete their applications before the August 5 deadline to avoid late fees and to ensure sufficient time to verify and process their documents.
