TSLPRB Notification 2026: The Telangana government has given permission to fill 5,000 posts in the police department through direct recruitment. The recruitment process will be conducted by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB), as per the government rules issued after reviewing the job requirements.The approval was given by the Finance Department (HRM.VII) following an assessment of the personnel requirements under the authority of the Director General of Police (DGP). According to media reports, the government has directed the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) to get all necessary information about the recruitment from the home department and the DGP before issuing the recruitment notices and conducting the preliminary examination.Cadre-wise jobs have been approvedAccording to the law of the state, the receiving area has several special units in the police department. The job includes 148 posts of sub-inspector (regular), 14 sub-inspector (Armed Reserve), 12 posts of police inspectors in Telangana Special Police, and three sub-inspectors in Special Armed Reserve Central Police Lines.
In addition, 23 posts of junior assistants have been approved in the Finger Print Bureau. The largest sector of employment is for constables, with 3,697 constables and 1,052 positions in the Armed Reserve. The approved posts include 24 posts of Special Armed Reserve Central Police Lines, 20 posts of constables (drivers) and seven (7) posts of constables (mechanics).The recruitment process will start after the confirmationBefore issuing the recruitment notification, the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board has been advised to get the details of customer service, recruitment center, eligibility criteria and other related recruitment details from the home department and DGP.The government has ordered that this should be verified before the information of the people who are employed and write the exam is released. It has requested the recruitment agency to complete the process as soon as possible to guide the candidates on time.The Home Department was instructed to provide informationThe government has also directed the internal affairs department to provide all necessary information related to recruitment without delay. This includes job designations, reservation information, qualifications, and other recruiting requirements.The provision of this will help the recruiting agency to finalize the information and examination process. Once the requirements are received from the home department and the DGP, the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board will proceed with the recruitment process for the 5,000 constables in all the notified categories.
