The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has released the detailed counseling schedule for the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TGICET) 2026. The counseling will be conducted for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs offered by affiliated universities and colleges in Telangana. Candidates who are eligible in TGICET 2026 can participate in online counseling by completing online registration, fee payment, reservation, certificate verification and online access through official counseling. According to the official schedule, online booking of information, refund of fees and reservation for the first phase will start on July 31, 2026, and continue till August 5, 2026. First step:

Candidates are advised to fill as much information as possible online to increase their chances of getting a seat. They should carefully select colleges and courses before closing in on their preferences.
TGICET 2026 Guide: What to do
Candidates must meet the following criteria to participate in counseling:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- They must fulfill the local or unreserved laws issued by the Telangana government.
- Must be eligible for TGICET 2026.
- Must have secured 50% aggregate marks in qualifying examination. Candidates in reserved categories need 45% aggregate marks.
- For MBA admissions, candidates must have a recognized bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration.
- For MCA admission, candidates must have passed Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Mathematics at Class 12 or final level.
- Degrees obtained through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are accepted only if recognized by the relevant authorities.
- Eighty-five percent of the seats are for Osmania University (OU) candidates, while the remaining 15 percent are open to eligible candidates.
- The maximum age for the scholarship is 30 years for Open Category (OC) candidates and 34 years for reserved category candidates as on July 1, 2026.
Qualifying TGICET 2026 alone does not guarantee admission. Candidates should also fulfill all other qualifications as specified by the authorities.
Documents required for certificate verification
Candidates must carry original documents along with two photocopies:
- TGICET 2026 rank card
- TGICET 2026 hall ticket
- Aadhaar card
- Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent memos
- Intermediate certificate or equivalent with memo-cum-pass
- Degree memorandum
- Part-time degree certificate
- Study or certificate valid from Class 9 to degree
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Income certificate issued on or after January 1, 2026, if applicable
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate valid for 2026-27, if applicable
- Rural Integrated Certificate, if applicable
- Any other documents required by the candidate group
How to register
Candidates have to visit the official website of TGICET and login using their TGICET registration number 2026, hall ticket number and date of birth. They have to fill the required details, including Aadhaar number, mobile number, email address and certificate details, wherever it is. Fees for counseling are:
- ₹600 for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
- ₹1,200 for all other categories.
The amount can be paid online through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.
