According to the latest reports, an attendee fell from a high-rise section of the venue, the upper level area of the arena.
A concertgoer dies after falling from the upper level at Goose’s concert
The New York Post reported that the concertgoer, identified as Paul Kueker, 51, died after falling from the upper level area of Madison Square Garden. At that time I had attended the performance of the indie rock band. Authorities are currently investigating the case to determine what really happened.The NYPD was called to the scene of the emergency Saturday night as the concert continued. A statement from Entertainment Weekly said, “At approximately 9:51 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call for an injured man inside 4 Penn Plaza. Upon arrival, officers observed an unconscious and unresponsive 51-year-old man with injuries indicative of a fall from an elevated position.” He was rushed to nearby Bellevue Hospital; however, doctors pronounced him dead. Kueker was with his wife at the time of the incident.Speaking to the New York Post, his mother, Patricia Finelli, shared that “He was the greatest kid in the whole world. He would give you the shirt off his back.”He was attending the concert from the Chase Bridge, an elevated seating section that was added to Madison Square Garden in 2013.

The news came to light after fans and other concertgoers started posting about it on social media. Many people posted photos of the living area cleared after the man’s fall. One posted: “I can’t believe this happened…poor guy.” Another person posted: “We saw the whole thing and it physically affected us.”Many people recounted the event, stating that there was much confusion and panic over what exactly had happened.
Goose publication on the death of man
Following the tragedy, Goose took to his social media account to share a tribute to the fan and address the current situation. Their statement on social media read: “We are deeply saddened and heartbroken to learn of the tragic event that occurred at tonight’s show. Our deepest condolences to all those affected.
