The battle-filled voyage includes the disappearance of all of Odysseus’ crew, and only he makes it home to his family. However, the story includes important characters who sacrifice themselves for the great battle.Elliot Page’s soldier Sinon stays with Troy as a decoy mounted by Odysseus and is attacked by the Trojan soldiers. Odysseus needed to be believed and accept the wooden horse within the walls. Also, Himesh Patel’s Euryloc convinces the hungry crew to eat Helios’ sacred cattle, which was certainly not appreciated by Poseidon. The mighty god of the sea, earthquakes and horses destroys the ship in anger, causing the death of every last sailor.Before Odysseus walks the shores of Ithaca, Ryan Hurst’s mentor and Jovan Adepo’s Elpenor succumb to death. After returning to his residence, he meets several suitors lining up to marry his wife, Penelope. Matt Damon’s Odysseus kills Robert Pattinson’s Antinous, as well as Corey Hawkins’ Polybus in the battle of the suitors. Meanwhile, Mia Goth’s Melantho is executed and Logan Marshall-Green’s Melanthius is killed by Tom Holland.
