Thalapathy Vijay’s much awaited film ‘Jana Nayagan’ has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). After getting the censor clearance, the makers shared a new official poster of the film.

The production house earlier shared one of Vijay’s famous dialogues from the film. It said: “I’m coming.” Finally, sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “See you soon in cinemas nanba and nanbis.”The newly released poster shows Vijay in a fierce look. He is seen holding a whip while standing in front of a huge crowd.Vijay also posted the new official poster on his X handle. Talking about the film, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is touted to be Vijay’s last big screen film before he enters full-fledged politics. The film was first scheduled for January this year. However, it was delayed as it was awaiting clearance from the CBFC. During the delay, the makers also faced a major setback after some scenes from the film were leaked online in April.

Talking about the story of the film, it follows the story of Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former civil servant and convict. He adopts a girl named Viji and wants to make her brave and independent. Although she is afraid of violence, he encourages her to join the army.
