There were rumors that System Of A Down and Faith No More were touring for the past few days; However, the bands have now confirmed that they will be touring four major dates in Australia and New Zealand in 2027! System Of A Down and Faith No More tour Australia and New Zealand
By Friday last week, fans and netizens had started seeing murals featuring the former group’s iconic hand symbol at various venues in Sydney and Melbourne. Now the bands have confirmed that the teasers and murals were there for a reason as they will be touring Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Wellington during their run in January and February next year.Taking to their Instagram accounts, the bands announced that they will be touring in 2027 and that tickets will officially go on sale to the general public on Friday 31 July at 10am (Sydney), 11am (Melbourne and Wellington) and 12pm (Brisbane). On the other hand, advance ticket sales will begin on July 29th, while artist pre-sales for anyone signed up to the official mailing lists will begin on July 28th.The respective shows will take place on the following days:Friday 22 January, Accor Stadium, Sydney, NSWWednesday 27th January, Marvel Stadium, Melbourne, VICMonday 1 February, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, QLDSunday 7th February, Henry Stadium, Wellington, NZSystem of a Down will return to Australia a full decade after their 2012 performance at the Soundwave Festival. The group recently toured the UK and Europe at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas in April this year. Faith No More will also perform there for the first time in a decade. The group was scheduled to return in 2020; however, due to sudden COVID-19 restrictions, everything was cancelled.
