Taking to his Instagram stories, Kapila revealed that all the photos of the two that are widely shared online are fake and generated using AI.She further shared that she has no bond with Samay Raina and the jokes shared in the past really hurt her. She shared posts on her account stating that “Women can change in a second for money and fame.” However, the ‘Thank You For Coming’ star called the posts and photos “fake and planted”. She added: “My face is altered by artificial intelligence – why anyone would spend money doing this is beyond me. The way Incel the internet will stoop to minimize me is laughable at this point (laughs while crying emoji).“

Kapila also shared a lengthy post with pointers explaining what happened in 2024 in great detail and why she and Raina are not connected in any way. She wrote, “Yes, we were friends. Samay was a panelist on a roast show hosted by Ashish Solanki. There was no script shared, no contract signed and no jokes shared beforehand. Everything was done in good faith. I had no idea what was coming. The jokes made at my expense were awful, and I stand by my stance that they should have been censored.““I blocked both Samay and Ashish. It took me a lot of time and therapy to get over the shame and ridicule I felt that day. I really wish that roast had never happened to me. There is no record of me celebrating his downfall because I never did. Several posts came to me, asking me to speak out against him, and I decided not to. I’m not Samay’s friend. I will never be in Latent,” he added.At the end of the post, he clarified the criticism he received for attending Jasleen Royal’s recent party. While Kapila and Raina were present at the event, he has clarified that this does not mean that they have reconciled in any way. She added: “Stop with your ridiculous seeding. In 2024, Kapila was invited to star in the ‘Pretty Good Roast Show’, which also featured Samay Raina. While the show was supposed to be a roast session that also featured other comedians, Raina made comments about Kapila’s life and his divorce from Zorawar Ahluwalia. He also called her a ‘gold digger’ at the time, adding: ‘Kusha has a dog, who stays with her half the time, and the other half, she’s still happy. Just give the dog to Zorawar.
