The live-action adaptation of the “God of War” franchise had gone ahead. However, according to the latest reports, Ryan Hurst has been injured while shooting some of the scenes for the upcoming show.
Ryan Hurst, injured while shooting ‘God of War’
TMZ recently reported that Ryan Hurst, who will play the lead role of Kratos, has been injured on the set of the live-action “God of War” series. According to reports, while filming one of the demanding stunts on the sets of the show, the actor ended up tearing his bicep.After being examined, the report stated that the actor will need surgery to deal with the injury. Because of this, and with Hurst as the lead actor in the upcoming show, production dates have been pushed forward. The studio expected him to recover and return to the set by mid-August, but due to the nature of the injury, the actor will need a lot of time and effort to return to the set in the best condition.While no comments have been shared on what will happen with production in the meantime, it has been reported that there is a possibility that filming and overall production of the show could be pushed forward to 2027. Filming had been taking place in Vancouver until the incident.The actor is yet to issue any statement on the matter since its end.
