RRB Group D Result 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has declared the RRB Group D result 2026 for Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results, merit list and scorecards by visiting regional RRB websites.The results have been released in PDF format with the selected numbers selected in the next section. Candidates can also download their admit card by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.RRB Group D recruitment seeks to fill 32,438 posts in various Level-1 posts in Indian Railways.

What next after RRB Group D CBT result?

Candidates who appeared for the Computer-based Test are now required to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET scheme will be announced separately by regional RRBs.Candidates who clear the PET will proceed to the remaining stages of the recruitment process, including:

  • Physical Activity Test (PET)
  • Document Verification (DV)
  • Clinical examination

Only candidates who are qualified in each category will be considered for final selection.

RRB Group D 2026 salary

Candidates selected for Level-1 posts will be selected under 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC).The starting salary is ₹ 18,000 per month. In addition to the basic salary, selected candidates will also receive allowances such as:

  • Dearness Allowance (DA)
  • Home Loan Allowance (HRA)
  • Transport Allowance (TA)

The project is being implemented in 32,438 places in different parts of the railways. Some of the key notes are:

More than 1.08 crore applications were received

According to the Railway Recruitment Board, more than 1.08 crore applied for the job under CEN 08/2024.Among all railway zones, Mumbai recruited the highest number of applicants, with 15.59 lakh candidates registered for the recruitment process.The CBT was conducted between November 27, 2025, and February 10, 2026. Before the results were declared, the Board released the provisional answer key and allowed candidates to challenge by paying ₹ 50 for each question. The final result is prepared after checking the objections and making appropriate corrections to the answer key wherever necessary.Candidates are advised to download and save a copy of their admit card for future reference and regularly visit regional RRB websites for updates on PET, document verification and other parts of the recruitment process.
