RRB 2026 professional recruitment: Registration starts tomorrow for 6,565 Grade I and III posts; see how to use it
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will start the online registration process for Technician recruitment 2026 from June 30, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply for 6,565 Technician Grade I Signal and Technician Grade III posts through the official portal of RRB.The recruitment has been announced through Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) No. 02/2026 under Ministry of Railways. Candidates can send their application forms till July 29, 2026.
Job details
According to official information, all 6,565 posts will be filled through the recruitment process. Among these:
- 323 posts are for Technician Grade I Signal.
- 6,242 jobs are for Technician Grade III.
Applicants applying for Technician Grade I Signal must have a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or Diploma in a relevant field. For Technician Grade III courses, applicants must have passed Class 10 along with an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in the relevant trade.
Age limit
The age limit will be counted from July 1, 2026.
- Technician Grade I Signal: 18 to 33 years
- Technician Grade III: 18 to 30 years
Age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to reserved category as per government rules.
Application fees
Candidates belonging to General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 500.For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD), the application fee is Rs 250.The fee can be paid only through online application.

Candidates can follow these steps while submitting their application form:
- Visit the official website of RRB.
- Write using the relevant information.
- Fill the online application form carefully.
- Enter your Aadhaar details and ensure that they match your Class 10 records.
- Upload the necessary documents and photos.
- Pay the online application fee.
- Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Candidates can apply through Railway Recruitment Board only once for each Pay Level. Only one application per Pay Level will be accepted, and submitting multiple applications for the same Pay Level may result in rejection.Candidates are also advised to verify their Aadhaar details before submitting the form to avoid any misunderstandings during the recruitment process.The Computer Based Test Schedule will be announced later by the Railway Recruitment Boards through the official website.
