National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the window for challenging the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 keys tomorrow, June 28, 2026, at 11:50 pm. Candidates who find any errors in the provisional answer keys can submit their objections through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, before the last date.NTA also released the NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key on June 25 for more than 20 lakh candidates. Candidates can check the answer key by logging in with their application number and password.The agency has made it clear that no objections will be accepted after the deadline. After the objection process is completed, NTA will review the objections received and publish the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) answers.
How to protest re-NEET UG 2026 answer key
Candidates can follow these steps when raising objections:
- Visit the official website of neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click the link for Re-NEET UG 2026 Key Answer Key.
- Login using your application number and password.
- Select the question you want to challenge.
- Upload required documents, if any.
- Pay the necessary fees, if applicable, and submit the challenge.
- Download the confirmation page for future reference.

Re-NEET UG 2026 writing scheme
The procedure for writing the exam is as follows:
- Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.
The question paper consisted of 180 questions with a total of 720 marks from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
OMR sheets to be released after objection
Once the challenge window is closed and the answer key review process is completed, NTA will publish the candidates’ OMR answers.The OMR page will also include important information such as:
- Applicant’s name
- Roll number
- Application number
- Test booklet
- Smart answers
- Exam date and session details
The re-examination of NEET UG 2026 was conducted in the written and paper mode on June 21, 2026, for more than 20 lakh candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and other medical programs offered by the government, which are considered private schools across the country.Candidates are advised to submit their objections before the deadline and always visit the official website to know more about the final answer key and the result.
