Adding to the anticipation, renowned sitar maestro Rishab Rikhiram Sharma took to social media to share a new set of stills featuring key members of the film’s team.The pictures showed Rishab posing with Ranbir Kapoor, Yashdirector Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra. Rishab, who trained under the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar, has earned recognition for bringing Indian classical music to audiences worldwide.

Aside from the celebrity shots, one image stood out for the distinctive orange wristwatch worn by the sitar maestro. The trailer of ‘Ramayana’ will be released worldwide on July 24
Earlier, producer Namit Malhotra and the makers officially confirmed that the first trailer of Ramayana will be released globally on 24th July. The announcement was accompanied by a special message celebrating the epic’s timeless legacy.The makers wrote, “From Bharat to the world. For thousands of years, the Ramayana has inspired generations through its timeless ideals of dharma, marriage, courage and compassion. Now, a new journey begins. One of Bharat’s greatest civilization epics, presented to the world on a scale never before attempted in Indian cinema. Ramayana trailer releases worldwide on July 24.”
The star-studded cast brings the epic to life
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features an ensemble cast portraying some of the most iconic characters of the Indian epic. Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi takes on the role of Sita. Ravie Dubey has been cast as Laxman, while Yash will essay the role of Ravan.
Two-part release planned for the epic saga
Designed as a two-part cinematic event, the makers are planning a wide theatrical rollout for two consecutive years. The first installment is slated to hit theaters during Diwali 2026, while the final chapter is expected to release during Diwali 2027.
