However, shortly after the screening, a phone-recorded clip lasting approximately 1 minute and 28 seconds began circulating online.According to a report by Mid Day, the trouble started almost immediately after the screening, when a roughly 88-second clip of the trailer started doing the rounds on social media. According to sources, the footage appears to have been recorded on an attendee’s phone during the event, capturing Rama’s entrance sequence along with the moment he agrees to fulfill his father’s promise to Kaikeyi.Since then, producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari have activated their partners and legal anti-piracy teams to identify and remove unauthorized uploads. A source close to the production said the takedown effort has been underway since Saturday night, with the clip successfully removed from Reddit on Sunday morning, though deleting it from X (formerly Twitter) has proven more difficult.
