Ram Charan was recently seen in the sports action drama ‘Peddi’, who is currently enjoying a successful theatrical run. Almost a month after the film hit the theaters, the latest scoop suggests that it will be released digitally very soon.

According to a report by Gulte, ‘Peddi’ is expected to start streaming on Netflix from July 16, 2026. However, it is imperative to mention that the makers are yet to make an official announcement about the OTT launch.Meanwhile, ‘Peddi’ is still running in theaters with decent numbers; in its fourth week, the film has been earning nearly one crore daily. ‘Peddi’ has collected Rs 336.85 crore worldwide during its theatrical run. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film managed to perform well at the box office.

Plot ‘Peddi’

Talking about the movie, it tells the story of a cricketer who plays for any team that is willing to pay him. His life changes after he meets Appalasuri, a villager who has spent many years trying to get a railway stop and official recognition for his village.Using his elite sports skills, under the guidance of his Pehelwaani mentor, Gournaidu, he transforms from a player who only wants money to a dedicated sportsman who is willing to sacrifice himself for others.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features Ram Charan in the lead role along with Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan, Viji Chandrasekhar, Rajatava Dutta, Satya, John Vijay, Ajay Ghosh and several others in important roles.

Ram Charan will next work with Sukumar in the upcoming film tentatively titled ‘RC17’. He earlier worked with the ace filmmaker in ‘Rangasthalam’ which was a huge hit.
