Jayaram starrer Tamil movie ‘Parimala And Co’ is all set to entertain the audience on the digital platform.Starring Jayaram and Urvashi in the lead roles, the Tamil black comedy thriller combines humor, suspense and family drama in an engaging narrative. The film is directed by Pandiraaj and brings together a cast led by Sanjana Krishnamoorthy and Ananthika Sanilkumar, who play the daughters of the central couple.

A family caught up in a mysterious crime
The story revolves around the Parimala family, whose peaceful life is turned upside down after the mysterious death of a notorious gangster. As questions begin to emerge about what really happened, suspicion slowly creeps into the household. Several viewers also compared the film’s family-centric mystery setup to Mohanlal’s “Drishyam”-style storytelling, with a comedic twist.Jayaram and Urvashi lead the film and are joined by Sanjana Krishnamoorthy and Ananthika Sanilkumar in pivotal roles. The supporting cast includes Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Sandy and Santosh.According to Sacnilk, ‘Parimala And Co.’ collected around Rs 1.60 crore nett in India on the opening day while its gross collection in India stood at approximately Rs 1.84 crore.

Reviewing the film, ETimes wrote, “Jayaram and Urvashi’s meeting has an easy, lived-in warmth, and Jayaram in particular holds the film together without ever overdoing a beat. Emperuman is shaped so close to Mysskin’s shoulder that he barely seems to be acting, and the flow around his land is never-ending. Dry routine with jokes often at his expense.” No one stretches, and no one falters. There’s nothing here, but also very few bars, and that balance is reason enough to show up.”
