National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the examination schedule for the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) April-May 2026 semester. The distance exams will be held on July 31, August 1, August 7 and August 8, 2026. According to the official schedule, the exam will be held twice daily. The morning shift will run from 10 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will run from 2 pm to 4 pm. According to official information, the NITTT program is designed to provide intermediate training to newly trained teachers in All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) accredited institutions and strengthen their teaching skills.

The course includes continuous assessment through modules and an online final exam. Teachers must complete all phases of the program within three years to be eligible for certification and future promotions.

Candidates appearing for the NITTT April-May 2026 exam can download their admit card from the official website, nittt.nta.ac.in. To get the hall ticket, candidates must login using their registration number and date of birth.

The NITTT 2026 exam will be:
- It will be held in English only.
- Includes 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Conducted online remote proctored mode.
NITTT Exam 2026 instructions for the day
Candidates should keep these tips in mind before appearing for the exam:
- Keep NITTT 2026 admit card with valid photo proof for exam preparation.
- Candidates without these documents will not be allowed to take the exam.
- A transparent water bottle is allowed during screening.
- The test will be supervised by the examiners throughout the period.
- Proctors may ask candidates on the chat screen to turn on their laptops or webcams to show their surroundings if they have any doubts.
- Candidates should always check the chat window and follow all the instructions given by the proctor.
- Warning messages may appear on the screen if they are found to be suspicious. Failure to follow the instructions despite repeated warnings may result in the termination of the examination.
- Candidates are not allowed to keep papers, documents or other materials for difficult work during the examination.
