actor Rajpal Yadav has been convicted of the Delhi High Court to three months in jail in each of seven check bounce cases arising out of a Rs 9 crore debt dispute. According to the hearing that took place today, there is no relief for the actor.Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma also ordered the actor to pay Rs 1.05 crore to the complainant in each case. Yadav has been ordered to pay Rs 1,04,75,000 to the complainant, along with Rs 25,000 to the state.In addition, the court ordered his wife, Radha Yadavto pay Rs 5,00,51,380 to the complainant in each of the seven cases. He clarified that the Rs 2.25 crore already paid by Rajpal Yadav would be adjusted towards the total amount payable.During the previous hearing, Yadav appeared virtually and rejected the settlement proposal presented to the Court. He claimed he had already suffered serious financial setbacks, saying: “I had already suffered huge financial losses.” * He further stated: *”I had been forced to sell my property and had already made substantial payments.”The High Court had also proposed a structured payment plan under which Rs 3 crore will be paid within a stipulated time. However, the Court made it clear that the proposal was only a judicial suggestion and not a definitive solution. Despite these efforts, the parties were unable to reach an agreement.
