The National Testing Agency (NTA) is supposed to release the review results will be announced by July 20, 2026. Although the agency has not announced the exact date, officials said that the review process is being completed in advance to ensure that students receive their results without unnecessary delays. The re-examination of NEET UG was held on June 21, after the original examination held on May 3 was canceled following the alleged paper leak. More than 20 lakh candidates appeared for the canceled exam.
NTA said that the education sector will not be delayed
According to the director of the NTA, the organization is working to fight the war to achieve its results. Officials have also assured the aspirants that the delay caused by the examination will not affect the commencement of the MBBS course.Generally, NEET results are declared around 45 days after the exam. However, since the exam has been rescheduled within just 37 days of the canceled exam, the board is hoping to release the results before the deadline.Before declaring the result, NTA will publish the final answer key on the official website of NEET. The following will be prepared entirely on the basis of this last answer key.The provisional answer key was released in the last week of June, and candidates were allowed to object until June 28. According to the organization, about 10,000 objections were submitted by candidates.Officials say each problem is carefully analyzed together with supporting documents before the final key to the solution is prepared.
NEET UG Result 2026: How to download admit card
Candidates can follow these steps to download their NEET UG 2026 admit card once the results are declared:
- Visit the official website of NEET: neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on ‘
NEET UG 2026 Result ‘ or the ‘Download Scorecard’ link available on the home page. - Enter your Application Number, Password (or Date of Birth, if required), and Security Pin/Captcha displayed on the screen.
- Click on the Submit button.
- Your NEET UG 2026 Admit Card will appear on the screen.
- Download the score card and take a printout for future reference during the counseling and admission process.

What happens after the results?
After the results are announced, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will announce the counseling schedule for:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) Seats.
- AIIMS
- JIPMER
- Central universities
- They are called universities
The councilors in the state have separately issued the approval process for the remaining 85% of the state seats.
