NBEMS recruitment 2026: Registration will start on July 7 for 53 slots; check eligibility and steps to apply
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) has updated the application process that was announced under the announcement of June 2, 2026. Due to administrative reasons, the online application process will now start on July 7, 2026, instead of the previous schedule.Eligible candidates can submit their application form through the official website of NBEMS till July 31, 2026.
Job details
The recruitment process aims to fill 53 positions in various positions. This includes:
- Deputy Director (Medical): 2 posts
- Junior Programmer: 1 post
- Junior Accountant: 4 posts
- Stenographer: 7 posts
- Junior Assistant: 39 posts (including one remaining post in the Scheduled Tribe category)
The agency also noted that the number of jobs may increase, decrease, or be eliminated without notice.
what to do
Candidates must fulfill the educational qualification and age limit of applying for the post they are applying for.
- Deputy Director (Medical): Accredited with postgraduate medical qualifications; most years 35 years.
- Junior Programmer: Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or equivalent qualification; under 27 years old.
- Junior Accountant: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Commerce; under 27 years old.
- Stenographer: Class 12 passes with shorthand and writing skills; 18 to 27 years.
- Junior Assistant: Class 12 goes with computer skills; under 27 years old.
Application fees
Candidates belonging to General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Unreserved (UR) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,500 plus 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST).Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and women groups are not required to pay fee. Bank management fees will be used separately.
The way to choose
Selection will consist of Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage I followed by Computer Knowledge/Skill Test (Stage II) for applicable jobs.For Group B and Group C posts, there will be no interview. The final list of Junior Accountant, Stenographer and Junior Assistant posts will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in both the stages of the examination.
