The makers of ‘Maharaja Hostel’ have given the audience a nice teaser in the form of the official trailer of the upcoming horror comedy film in Malayalam. The trailer is filled with the youth of students in a college hostel that slowly turns into a nightmare for them as the supernatural begins to unfold. There are many exciting parts in the film; however, the makers assured that comedy still rules the film’s plot.

The trailer begins with a group of students who are pursuing engineering to get to college, all excited to enjoy campus life and create lasting memories together. However, strange incidents begin to occur in their new hostel facility, fueling rumors that the building is haunted. As fear grips the students, they set out to discover the truth behind the super natural and mysterious incidents happening in the hostel and save themselves. The video also adds comedy with supernatural thrills, the trailer continues as the students land in a series of hilarious situations, while the eccentric hostel warden, known as MGR, adds to the mayhem and entertainment.
The songs and the youthful cast add to the pre-release excitement of the film
Apart from the trailer, the film’s promotional songs titled ‘Magnetic Kannaane Cornet Pol Sweetaane’ and ‘Choothattamo’ have also received favorable reception from the audience. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration of Akhil NRD, Akhil Sha, Sharath and Sandeep, who play the lead roles. They are supported by Chithra Nair, Sajin Cherukayil and Ann Maria who play important characters. The animated performances, colorful visuals and humorous interactions shown in the trailer have further increased the curiosity ahead of the film’s release.
