Samantha Ruth Prabhu‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ continued its theatrical run on the second Thursday with another solid day at the box office.The film has been a steady presence in the theaters since its release and is now nearing Rs 90 crore worldwide.According to Sacnilk, the film collected around Rs 1.15 crore (net India) on day 14. The latest figure represents a drop of 11.5 percent compared to the Rs 1.30 crore earned on the previous day.
Collections from India and around the world are breaking new ground
“Maa Inti Bangaaram” has now taken its total India net collection to Rs 53.95 crore. Its gross in India now stands at Rs 62.45 crore.The film also continued its overseas run by collecting an estimated gross of Rs 20 lakhs on Thursday. The international total has gone up to Rs 24.35 crore gross.The film’s worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 86.80 crore. In the second week, the Samantha starrer Ruth Prabhu earned Rs 20.25 crore (Net India). Earlier, the film had concluded its opening week with Rs 33.70 crore (Net India).
“MIB” Occupancy Rates
On the 14th, the Telugu version registered an overall occupancy of 14.58 percent. Morning shows recorded 12.29 percent while afternoon occupancy improved to 15.43 percent. Late night shows reported 15.85 percent, before settling at 13.08 percent overnight.The Tamil version registered an overall occupancy of 8.46 percent. Occupancy stood at 7.15% in the morning, 9.85% in the afternoon, 3.83% in the evening and 7.58% at night.Among the major markets, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the top contributors on the 14th with approximately Rs 1.10 crore.Karnataka added around 15 lakhs while Tamil Nadu contributed nearly 7 lakhs.
