ETimes praises Akhil Akkineni’s performance
Apart from its performance at the box office, Lenin has also received positive responses for Akhil Akkineni’s performance. The ETimes review stated, “Returning after a gap of three years, Akhil Akkineni settles comfortably into his first full-fledged rural role. He underlines the character for much of the film before delivering his strongest performance in the emotionally charged climax. Bhagyashri Borse is convincing as the free-spirited Bharathi, while the supporting cast lends credibility to the story. Sivaji, despite an effective screen presence, feels somewhat underused.“Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin features Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse in the lead roles, with music composed by Thaman S.DISCLAIMER: Box office numbers and data in this article are collected from public and industry sources.
