Sharing a post on her social media, she recalled some of the fond memories she shared with her grandmother MJ.
Khloé Kardashian shares a tribute post for her grandmother after her death
On her Instagram account on July 19, along with a series of photos, Khloé Kardashian shared her emotional tribute to her grandmother, Mary Jo Shannon, who died a few days ago at the age of 91. Dedicating her note to her grandmother, she began by saying, “My sweet MJ. Thank you for showing us that life is celebrated and that you make me laugh, that you celebrate, that you laugh, that you make me laugh. The greatest legacy we can leave behind. You lived so fully, so gracefully and so beautifully.”Later, she talked about how her children meeting their great-grandmother was one of the best things in life, and something she will cherish and be grateful for forever. Along with the lengthy note, the 42-year-old also shared glimpses of the two of them over the years. Many of the photos from years ago showed the grandmother and granddaughter in their most candid moments, with one including a photo of MJ holding her as a baby.The youngest Kardashian sister added: “You taught us that love never goes away. It lives on in the family you built, the traditions we will carry on, the stories we will tell and every time we choose joy. Your love will forever be woven into who we are. Thank you for every lesson, every laugh, every hug and every piece of your heart you gave so freely.” She further added in the post that she knew how openly she would be welcomed into heaven and how she would also meet her father there.Khloé concluded her post by sharing, “I know you’re happy to have your coke, tuna sandwich, and graham crackers with daddy Harry while Karen dances around you. Kris Jenner had posted, “Today we said goodbye to my beautiful mother MJ,” she wrote on Instagram on Thursday, July 16. “No words can ever capture what she has meant to me or the pain of having to say goodbye. My mom was the heart of our family. She taught me everything that really matters…moment together for granted.” In his post, he also called her the heart of the family and said how much he will miss her.
