Standard results plus two: The pass percentage stood at 77.97%
The additional exams follow the announcement of the Kerala DHSE Plus Two Years 2026 results, which were announced in May after the board exams were held between March 6 and March 28.This year, the state recorded an overall pass rate of 77.97%, with 2,90,398 out of 3,72,423 students found eligible for higher education.Girls also performed better than boys. While 86.69% of girls who took the test passed the test, boys scored 68.41%.
Vocational Higher Secondary stream
Along with the general stream exam, the government also conducted the Higher Secondary Vocational stream exam. 26,829 first-year and 26,826 second-year regular students enrolled.The examination was held in 389 places, where answers were analyzed in eight practice camps by about 3,700 teachers assigned to the examination. The calculation of the job duties started on April 6, 2026.
Looking back over the years
Kerala’s consistent performance in the senior secondary examinations has remained stable in the last three years.The overall success rate for the year 2025 was 77.81%. The Science stream scored the best with 83.25%, while the Commerce and Humanities streams scored 74.21% and 69.16% respectively.In 2024, there were 3,74,755 students who registered for the exam, while 2,94,888 withdrew. Therefore, the overall interest rate was 78.69%. Despite a reduction from last year’s 82.95%, Kerala continues to perform well among other school boards in the country.Now, the declaration of SAY results will play an important role in shaping the future of higher education aspirants in the ongoing admissions process.
