The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the seat allocation results of JoSAA Counseling 2026 round 5 today, July 16. Candidates who participated in the counseling process can now check their allocation by visiting the official website, josaa.nic.in.To get the result, candidates must login using their application number and password.Candidates who have been allotted a seat should download their seat allotment letter and complete the reporting process online through the official portal on or before July 20, 2026.

Candidates can follow these steps to download their allotment letter:

  • On the home page, go to Candidate Activity Board.
  • Click on the link titled “View Round 5 Seat Allocation Result for JoSAA 2026.”
  • Enter your application number and password.
  • Submit information to see results.

Important documents for JoSAA counselling 2026

Candidates must keep the following documents in preparation for admission:

  • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 admit card and scorecard
  • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 admit card (for Indian Institutes of Technology admissions)
  • Class 10 certificate or birth certificate as proof of date of birth
  • Class 12 papers and passing certificate
  • Passport size photos
  • Valid photo proof like Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID or passport
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) or Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate, if applicable
