JoSAA 2026 Round 4 Seat Division: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is planning to release the Round 4 seat allocation results of JoSAA Counseling 2026 today, July 10, 2026, 5:00 PM IST. Candidates participating in the central admission of IITs and other participating institutes will be able to check their provisional allotment status through the JoSAA admission portal.Along with the distributed results, candidates can also enter the Round 4 opening and closing cutoffs. Under the revised five-round counseling process this year, Round 4 is the last chance for candidates using the Float or Slide options before the last seat allotment deadline.How to check the Round 4 sectionOnce the result link is open, candidates can go to the official JoSAA portal and click on the “View Round 4 Seat Allocation Result” link available on the home page.Candidates will need to login using JEE Main 2026 Application Number and password. The deadline for paying the seat acceptance fee is July 13, 2026, by 5:00 PM.The seat removal and exit window will remain open from July 11 to July 14, 2026. Aspirants in IITs who wish to exit must complete the process by July 14, 2026, before 5:00 PM.Available optionsAfter checking the distributed results, candidates have to choose one of the options available. The Freeze option allows candidates to accept a given seat without participating in other contests.The Float system enables candidates to remain in their assigned seat while qualifying for the most preferred program at each participating school. The Slide Path allows candidates to be admitted to their preferred program within a given school.Candidates who are getting a seat for the first time in Round 4 must upload the necessary documents, including Class 10 and Class 12 certificates and group certificates, wherever applicable, and complete the fee payment.Final adviceThe fifth and final session of JoSAA Counseling 2026 is scheduled to be held on July 16, 2026. The final session will complete the admission process for IITs and other institutions participating under JoSAA counselling.
