About John Farnham
In a report in The Herald Sun in May this year, Farnham had confirmed that after recovering from mouth cancer, it was no longer possible for her to sing. The artist revealed that he will no longer perform and is now focusing on his health. “We can rule that out, due to surgeries on my mouth and face over the last few years, singing on stage is not something I would consider again.” The singer had stepped away from music in 2022, following his cancer diagnosis, and had been away from the public eye ever since.Apart from this, a tribute concert is also planned for the Australian singer in the coming months. Artists such as Celine Dion, Hugh Jackman, Richard Marx, Jimmy Barnes and Keith Urban, along with many others, will perform at the event and pay tribute to the singer. The concert has been titled “The Songs of John Farnham: A Living Legend”. Funds from the concert will be donated to Head and Neck Cancer Australia, the same organization that helped Farnham with his cancer battle.
