Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has started the process of accepting 49 distance and online programs offered through the Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the academic session 2026-27. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official admission portal, admission.jmi.ac.in. The application deadline is August 10, 2026.The course will be delivered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Learning (OL) methods.This year, JMI launched two new online programs: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biosciences and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Admission to the newly introduced courses will be based on the student’s performance in a qualifying examination, followed by an interview.The university will also conduct entrance exams for admission to MBA (ODL) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programs. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held on August 22, 2026.

JMI CDOE 2026 Admission: Selection process
Admission to many undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs will be based on the eligibility of the qualifying examination.However, candidates applying for MBA (ODL) and B.Ed. applications must appear in the entrance exam of Jamia Millia Islamia. The exact exam venue and time will be mentioned on the admit card.Candidates selected for entry will receive confirmations on their registered email IDs. They will also be informed about the schedule for verification of original documents.According to the university, the verification of documents and payment of fees will take place from August 31 to September 10, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete all the required documents within the given schedule.
