An old video of Aryan Verma, the man who was arrested for impersonating a Brigadier in the Indian Army, has also surfaced on social media. In the video, Verma is seen addressing a crowd of UPSC aspirants while being accompanied by armed security personnel, who are seen at the beginning of the video.In his speech, Verma talks about the importance of socializing with people who are not relatives. “I believe that communication between parents and outsiders is very important. It is important that your attitude changes. Only when your attitude is changed, will you be able to talk to your parents,” he says.He also shares how his career aspirations changed during his school years. According to Verma, he always planned to pursue medicine and become a doctor. However, after attending a public meeting where an official made a lengthy speech, he decided to go with UPSC instead.“I wanted to do UPSC. I had a medical field since I was a child. That day, I changed my mind at night. I didn’t want to be a doctor. I wanted a gun. I wanted a car. This is better than a doctor,” he says in the video.Verma also says that he was a two-time NEET aspirant and encourages students to work hard to achieve the same. The film became popular after it was recently shot in Uttar Pradesh.The video surfaced days after Verma was arrested in Shahjahanpur for impersonating a Brigadier in the Indian Army. According to investigators, the 21-year-old traveled in an armored SUV and arrived at public meetings wearing a military uniform while claiming to be a major.Military officials and ex-slaves are said to have been monitoring their activities for nearly two months before they sprung a trap at a ceremony held at the Shaheed Museum. Verma was arrested along with his friends when they reached the spot.Officials said they recovered a fake Brigadier ID, a pistol, an AMC type baton and other weapons-like items. Two men in black were also arrested for posing as National Security Guard (NSG) commandos, while the driver of the group was found to be carrying an Indian government identity card.
