HTET 2026 Tips for exam day: Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026 begins today with the Level-3 (PGT) exam, conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). The state examination will be held for two days for the candidates of PGT, TGT and PRT category. Officials have issued detailed instructions regarding reporting time, documents, entry rules and items allowed inside the registration area.A total of 2,33,294 candidates are expected to register for HTET 2026, including 1,66,137 women and 67,157 men. Level-3 Test (PGT) is being conducted in 238 centers for 73,091 people. Level-2 exam (TGT) will be held in 383 centers for 1,19,141 people, while Level-1 exam (PRT) will be held in 139 centers for 41,062 people.Examination schedule and reporting periodThe Level-3 exam (PGT) is scheduled from 3 pm to 5.30 pm on July 4, 2026. The Level-2 exam (TGT) will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm on July 5, 2026, followed by the Level-1 (PRT) paper from 3 pm to 5.30 pm on the same day.Candidates are advised to reach their examination center two hours and 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination. This time is dedicated to security through metal detectors, biometric authentication, photo capture and identity verification. Entrance to the exam center will close one hour before the exam begins.Text and dress code allowedCandidates must have a color printout of one page of the official HTET page, including both Center Copy and Candidate Copy. They should also bring the original photo ID used for submitting the HTET application form and follow all the instructions printed on the admit card.Followers are advised to wear casual clothes. Female followers can wear mangalsutra, bindi and sindoor. Christian and Sikh baptized followers will be allowed to carry religious symbols in accordance with the prescribed procedures.Prohibited items and special arrangementsMobile phones, smart watches, wristwatches, Bluetooth devices, headphones, pages, calculators, cameras, health bands, wallets, purses, plastic bags, papers, documents, chips, wooden tables and jewelry, including rings, chains, earrings, pendants, necklaces and other metal items built in, are acceptable.A state control room has been set up at the BSEH headquarters, where district and headquarters flying squads will monitor the examination. CCTV cameras will be installed in all areas, ambulances will be available, candidates can seek police assistance through 112 if needed, and additional buses will be arranged on selected routes.
