Sunita Ahuja recently welcomed viewers to her luxurious Mumbai residence, revealing a home that perfectly balances luxury with spirituality. Estimated to be worth around Rs 16 crore, the house has been carefully designed with Vastu Shastra at its core. From sacred corners and elegant interiors to decorations selected from around the world, every detail reflects the family’s personal touch.During her conversation with Mashable India, Sunita also shared that her children, Yashvardhan and Tina, played an active role in decorating the home, making it a true family project.

Vastu plays a key role in every corner

Sunita revealed that every section of the house has been planned according to the principles of Vastu, which she believes brings peace, prosperity and positive energy to their lives. The balcony, for example, features two tulsi plants placed in opposite corners. One belongs to Sunita, while the other belongs to her daughter Tina. The same space also doubles as his prayer corner, where he performs Surya Arghya every morning. The balcony also houses a Sai Baba idol, an angel themed table decorated with miniature angel figurines and candles, an elephant sculpture, pyrite crystals and a large mirror, all carefully placed as per Vastu recommendations.

A lounge designed with elegance and openness

Instead of filling the space with excessive decor, Sunita explained that the living room was designed to emphasize openness and comfort. The cream paneled walls, wooden floor and layered lighting create a warm atmosphere, while the furniture adds a touch of understated luxury. The room is decorated with memorabilia and artifacts collected by the family during their travels around the world.Among the standout pieces are Italian green and brown sofas paired with Versace candles and vintage-inspired lamps, giving the space a refined English-style aesthetic.

Personal touches reflect the family’s lifestyle

The living room also responds to the interests of each member of the family. A section is dedicated to his son Yashvardhan, with a large TV, a PS5 games console and a punching bag.Another eye-catching feature is an emerald green wooden bar with functional shelving, which blends perfectly with the room’s earthy color palette. The house also includes a marble-topped dining table where the Ahuja family gathers to eat and spend quality time together.

The heart of the Ahuja house

Sunita described the living room as the busiest part of the house. Whether it’s entertaining guests, organizing meetings, celebrating with friends or enjoying family time, the space remains the center of everyday life. For this reason, he believes that ensuring that the room remains Vastu compliant is essential as it helps maintain an atmosphere of harmony and positive energy throughout the home.
