Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi’s ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ continued its theatrical run on a positive note registering a healthy jump in collections on the third day. The sports drama witnessed the improvement of steps on Sunday.
The film crosses Rs 13.85 Crore India Net in three days
According to Sacnilk reports, “Gatta Kusthi 2” earned approximately Rs 6.20 crore (net index) on Day 3. This indicates an increase of 25.3% from the Rs 4.95 crore collected on Day 2.Sunday’s collections came from 2,400 shows across India. The cumulative Indian net collection of the film has reached Rs 13.85 crore, while the Indian gross collection has risen to Rs 15.93 crore. The overseas market has also contributed steadily, adding 1 crore gross on Sunday. This has taken the film’s total overseas gross to Rs 2.85 crore, while its worldwide gross now stands at Rs 18.78 crore after three days.
Boosts Occupancy for ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’
‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ registered an overall occupancy of 44.27% in Tamil (2D). Morning shows recorded 23.85%, while afternoon occupancy improved to 52.62%.Night shows continued to be the strongest at 53.15%, before settling at 44.46% during night shows.Tamil Nadu continued to dominate the film’s business bringing in Rs 6.25 crore gross on Day 3. Karnataka added Rs 50 lakhs while Kerala contributed Rs 28 lakhs.The film has received a mixed critical response upon its release.
