‘Adiye En Poonthene’ is an emotional song that shows the bond between a father and his daughter. The track features stills from the film where Vijay and Mamita Baiju can be seen in emotional moments. It shows a short journey of how Mamitha Baiju’s character grows from a little girl to a teenager and a young adult, with her father figure Vijay always by her side.The two-minute-two-second music video features the song composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander. The lyrics were written by Karthik Netha.

Talking about the film, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is Vijay’s 69th and last film before entering politics full-time. His character in the film is called Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, whose initials are TVK, as is his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.The film shows his character as a former civil servant who adopts a young girl named Viji. He wants her to become a brave and independent woman. Although she fears violence, he encourages her to join forces.The film received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
