A day after Kris broke the news of her mother’s death, the reality show host took to her Instagram account to share her condolences for her mother. She posted a photo of Kris and MJ that had been circulating the internet ever since and wrote an emotional note in the caption. It read: “Portia and I know how much you loved your mom and what a special force she was in your life and the lives of your entire family. I can’t imagine the pain you are feeling right now. We send you our love. @krisjenner.” The post was recognized by Khloé Kardashian, Kris’ daughter, who posted in the comments section: “You are the sweetest!!! Posting an old, vintage photo of herself, she posted: “She taught me everything that really matters…to love your family fiercely, to be kind, to show yourself to the people you love and to never take a single moment together for granted. She taught us that family is everything. She showed us how to love unconditionally and how to find joy in the little moments.He also called his mother the “heart of our family.”She further concluded her post by adding, “When I look at my children and grandchildren, I will forever see pieces of you in all of us. There isn’t a part of me that isn’t shaped by you. And if I’ve done anything good in this world, it’s because I spent my life trying to live in a way that would make you proud. Every memory, every moment, every blessing, it was all because of you, and I will eternally thank God every day for making you my mother. My heart is broken into a million pieces…thank you for giving me the best childhood and what a beautiful and blessed life…I love you forever Mom. Thank you for giving us everything.” Mary Jo ‘MJ’ Shannon died on July 16 and was 91 years old at the time of her death.
