dr. BR Ambedkar University Delhi has opened its 2026-27 undergraduate and graduate admissions based on the CUET UG 2026 information. Along with the admission process, the university has expanded its courses with new degree programs, revamped its mathematics curriculum to include Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and advised applicants to complete their registration without delay.

Dr. BR Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has started the admission process for undergraduates and postgraduates for the academic session of 2026-27, opening applications for students seeking admission to its humanities and social sciences courses.Established by the Government of Delhi, the university admits students into 23 undergraduate programs catering to 1,194 students. Admission in all three and four year programs will be done on the basis of CUET UG 2026 score as per NEP 2020 guidelines.The university has requested the candidates to complete the registration through its official CUET UG portal and verify the detailed eligibility criteria for the program before submitting their applications.

Candidates are advised to complete the registration early

University officials have urged applicants not to wait until the deadline to apply, warning that technical problems could disrupt enrollment.Students are also advised to carefully review the admission guidelines, booking procedures, payment details and schedule of required dates before completing the course. The university said applicants should check the website regularly for any information regarding admissions or changes.

Five new undergraduate programs to inform

The academic session of 2026-27 will see a major expansion of the university’s curriculum and the establishment of at least five programs.Among the major additions is the BA in Museology, Culture and Heritage Management, which university officials described as one of the first programs of its kind at a university in India. The university is also launching a BA in Visual Arts as part of its efforts to diversify its curriculum.

Revised Mathematics courses with an AI and Data Science focus

AUD has also reformed its mathematics curriculum by replacing the BA (Honours) Mathematics program with a BSc in Mathematics.Officials say the revamped program will also include a minor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, reflecting the growing interdisciplinary curriculum and emerging technologies.The reform of the course is aimed at providing students with mathematical skills along with technical skills related to industry.

New postgraduate courses have been offered under the PGCF

The university is developing its postgraduate courses under the Post Graduate Curriculum Framework (PGCF). According to university officials, the one-year course will be offered in seven groups.Among the courses that have just been introduced are the MA in Creative Writing and the MA in Performing Arts (Theatre Arts), expanding opportunities for students interested in creative and performance studies.

CUET UG Result 2026 run the receiving method

The admission process follows the announcement of the CUET UG 2026 results by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 23.The test recorded only one candidate who scored in the 100th percentile in four of the five subjects selected. The agency’s release shows that 22 students scored 100 percent in three subjects, while 180 scored well in two subjects. A further 3,214 students scored 100 per cent in one subject.

More than 11.6 lakh candidates appeared in CUET UG

CUET UG 2026 witnessed from more than 11.64 lakh people across the country. Women accounted for almost half of all applicants, with 7,74,607 women applying for the exam compared to 7,94,257 men. However, the participation of women exceeded that of men in the survey, with 5,85,596 women appearing against 5,78,500 men.Three candidates were enrolled in the third gender group, of whom two took the test. With the admission period of CUET UG now underway, the expanded list of programs at Ambedkar University Delhi and revised courses are expected to provide students with a wide range of academic opportunities in the admission period 2026-27.
