The 71-year-old looked relaxed as he sat in the passenger seat, dressed in a blue jacket and navy trucker cap. The exit came amid his ongoing health battle, which has seen Willis lose much of his ability to speak due to the debilitating brain disorder.

The misdiagnosis indicated that the neurological disorder is complex and can be difficult for medical professionals to diagnose correctly.His wife of 17 years, Emma Hemingrecently clarified on The Bossticks podcast that Bruce did not have memory problems, but that his speech had been affected by the disease. “The one Bruce has affects language, but there’s another variant that will affect behavior and another that could affect movement,” he said. “That’s a different part of the brain. So when people say ‘Oh, you know, remember who you are?’ Well, he does because he doesn’t have Alzheimer’s; has FTDHe continued: “I think it’s a very common misconception that when you think of dementia, we think of memory loss.”
